Ben was a litigator, Anastasia was an investigative attorney. After years of closely collaborating on projects, a light went on. If litigation is more successful with a crack investigator on the team, and investigations are more useful when the investigator understands the demands of litigation, why not combine the two? The result: Wincorn Fishman LLP, a new type of law firm that can rapidly and efficiently deploy laser-focused intelligence techniques for the benefit of clients in need of litigation or investigative services.
Anastasia Wincorn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cardozo Law School. She clerked for Justice Eileen Bransten in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court, then worked as an investigator for a full-service investigative firm. Anastasia started her own investigative practice in 2015.
Ben Fishman graduated Cum Laude from NYU School of Law. He worked at a criminal defense and civil rights firm and then clerked in the Eastern District of New York for Judge Nicholas Garaufis. After clerking, Ben was a senior litigation associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, a firm that regularly appears on the American Lawyer's A-List.
